Outrun number thirteen combines the raw sound of Leipzig’s Duktus — fresh off his sophomore album Funky Reflections 2 — and the soulful vocals and musical talents of Toronto’s Maya Killtron for some lovely mid-tempo, icey cool funk. The message is positive and uplifting on It’s Our Time, with Killtron giving us a reason to make the most of every chance to dance. And on the flip side, So Natural features a magical piano and violin arrangement — proving the two artists compliment each other like bubbly and bright city lights. We hope you feel it too.
